About us

Skylarks is an independent charity based in Richmond upon Thames, now proudly also with a centre in Hounslow. We provide a wide range of activities and therapies for children with additional needs, while also supporting their siblings and whole families.

You don’t need a diagnosis or referral to join us, and although we are rooted in Richmond, there are no geographical limitations, families from anywhere are welcome!

We create a warm and inclusive environment where children with additional needs and their siblings can build lasting relationships, grow in confidence, and develop together through play, activities, and therapies.

For parents and carers, we provide valuable information and support under one roof, whether through workshops, therapies, support groups, or simply a friendly chat over a hot drink.

With our centres in Richmond and Hounslow, Skylarks is proud to reach even more families, helping them feel supported, understood, and fully part of our caring community.
